“A dog will teach you unconditional love. If you can have that in your life, things won’t be too bad.” -Robert Wagner
What is more perfect for Angus to pose with on Wisdom Wednesday besides a wise owl?
I know for sure that dogs will practice and demonstrate unconditional love. It is up to you if you will actually learn from your dog this skill! I know that I have mentioned this before, but dogs don’t hold grudges. If you accidentally step on their paw, they yelp, but they also want to continue standing right next to you!
Also, dogs don’t just practice unconditional love with the humans they live with. They love all the humans that they have met and trust. Angus in fact will love any human that passes us by! What a love bug! I also watched him fill and then overflow with excitement when he met Ian last week.
Robert Wagner is correct when he says that things won’t be too bad if you have unconditional love in your life! It is important not only to be loved unconditionally, but to also love another unconditionally.
So, you are going through a rough patch, and don’t trust a human soul. Even just loving your pet this way will help lift your spirits up in order to get back on your feet. If you don’t have any pets, volunteer at the humane society. Those animals waiting for their forever home need your love. It can be amazing to watch what a little TLC will do for a timid animal! Also, you can look at that animal and say, “I helped her!”
Giving always comes back around! So share the unconditional love!
